Tickets are on sale now for Cleveland born, Grammy-winning Baroque Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire, as they return to Market Square in Crocker Park to perform highlights from the award-winning album, Christmas on Sugarloaf Mountain. The family-friendly show performed by the local group will take place on Saturday, December 21 in time for the holiday season.
The doors will open at 4:30pm and the adventurous 75-minute show will begin promptly at 5pm. General admission tickets are $26 and Season Subscriber tickets are $16. To purchase tickets, visit apollosfire.org.

Named after the classical god of music and the sun, Apollo’s Fire was founded here in Cleveland in 1992 by the award-winning young harpsichordist and conductor, Jeannette Sorrell. Sorrell envisioned an ensemble dedicated to the baroque ideal that music should evoke the various effects of passion in its listeners. Years later, the group has performed all over the world in many sold out shows, and this year won a Grammy award for the album they co-performed, Songs of Orpheus. This group consists of several talented artists who share that love Sorrel has for drama, rhetoric, and the beauty of music.
