Local Cousins to Bring Utah-Based Cookie Concept to Their Hometown of Canton with Ribbon Cutting on June 23
Crumbl Cookies, popular for its freshly baked and warm cookies, is opening in Jackson Township this July. The gourmet cookie store will have a soft opening celebration on Thursday, June 23rd, followed by the grand opening, officially on June 24th. The sought-after cookie company has gained popularity for having a variety of decadent cookie flavors on rotation each week and served fresh out of the oven. The store is set to join many power retailers at The Strip, a Stark Enterprises property, located at 6791 Strip Avenue NW in Jackson Township.
The Crumbl Cookies storefront at The Strip is owned and operated by a local cousins, Evelyn and Erika. These female, Latina small-business owners are originally from the Canton area and graduates of Glen Oak High School. As kids, they dreamed of having a bakery together and then began their first jobs in the food industry at the same time as teenagers. They spent a brief time living together in Utah in 2018, where they often frequented the original Crumbl Cookies store. After moving back to Canton in 2019, they applied to open their very own business.
“The Crumbl Cookies concept was originally created by a pair of cousins, so it’s only fitting that my cousin and I bring this amazing brand to our hometown of Canton, Ohio,” says Erika, co-owner of Crumbl Cookies at The Strip. “We are excited to bring fun and exciting flavors to our community and join the other great list of retailers at The Strip.”
Crumbl Cookies features a weekly rotation of fun and classic cookie flavors, all made-to-order every day. With four-pack sizes to party packs, guests can be sure to try all the flavors that are offered each week.
