Crocker Park announces Liberty Fest 2018
The property plans for family-friendly music fest July 1
Westlake, OH: Crocker Park welcomes back a perfect celebration for the whole family to kick off Independence Day. Sunday, July 1, the property will host a patriotic, music-filled and family friendly event, Liberty Fest, from 12pm-6pm.
Day long entertainment begins at 12pm and carries through the entire afternoon with a great mix of performers including Nickelodeon star Breanna Yde “Tomika” on the network show School of Rock, and a grand finale performance from Cleveland Pops Orchestra. This year, Crocker Park has partnered with local non-profit, Wags4Warriors, and proceeds from the event will go towards this great organization and will be interwoven in the lineup of events that day.
Wags4Warriors, a local non-profit organization in Cleveland, has a mission to unite veterans returning home from war suffering from PTSD or TBI with the appropriate companion dog to assist with the struggles they face every day.
“Liberty Fest is our way of celebrating summer and the beginning of Independence Day by bringing together the perfect way to have fun as a family,” said Dan Crandall, Director of Marketing at Crocker Park. “We have a fantastic lineup of music all afternoon in the heart of property alongside fantastic entertainers and a patriotic atmosphere with the goal of letting each family make summer memories here at Crocker Park. It is all happening here-all summer!”
Alongside a full line-up of music and entertainment, vendor village will host array of exhibitors, entertainers and performances. Guests can also enjoy demonstrations by Thriller BMX, Jasmine Dragons and Harley Davidson. The fun will continue all afternoon throughout the park and patrons are invited to explore and enjoy what the entire property has to offer.
The event could not be made possible without Liberty Fest’s great group of sponsors. This year’s event is sponsored by Cuyahoga Community College, Wells Fargo Advisors, Hughie’s event production services, Benesch, Key Private Bank, Sherwin Williams, Harley Davidson, Star 102, Q104, Repros, Schill Grounds Management, Cedar Point, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Brio Tuscan Grille.
