WHAT:
Spring into StoryWalk® at Crocker Park presented by Circle K, our annual reading adventure kicks off Tuesday, April 1, featuring Don’t Push the Button: An Easter Surprise! by local author Bill Cotter. Stroll through the park, starting and ending at Barnes & Noble, and discover fun surprises along the way—like daily egg decorating at Macy’s and a special Easter Egg “Hunt” on weekends!
The adventure runs all April long, so don’t miss it! Plus, meet Bill Cotter at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM & 3 PM for story time, book signings, and a fun craft. Complete the StoryWalk® and score a $1 cookie coupon for the B&N Café. Spring fun awaits!
The North Union Farmers Market, presented by Westland Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, will return to its outdoor location on Saturday, April 5, starting at 9 AM. The market will be set up at the corner of Crocker Road and Detroit Road, in front of Fidelity Investments at The Promenade (1800 Crocker Road). A staple at Crocker Park for nearly 20 years, the North Union Farmers Market continues to offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and more, all while supporting local farmers and communities. The market will operate every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM through the end of October.
And don’t forget—the Easter Bunny will be hopping over to the North Union Farmers Market on Saturday, April 19, from 10 AM to 1 PM for FREE photos and lasting memories with the whole family! Bring your little ones (and even your pups!) for this self-serve outdoor photo opportunity at the market.
