Brand new store now open with extensive offering of professional eyelash services
Homegrown beauty company specializing in eyelash extensions, Deka Lash, has opened their newest location inside Stark Enterprises’ Fairlawn shopping center, West Market Plaza. Started by husband and wife duo in a one-room studio outside Pittsburgh, PA, Deka Lash has since expanded to more than 100 locations in the US and Canada. Experts in eyelashes, they create custom experiences through their eyelash extension services, memberships, and products.

The new shop is the second franchise launched by owners Dana DeMarino and mother Georgine, who opened their first Deka Lash studio in neighboring Canton in November 2020. The two Pittsburgh natives noticed the success in their hometown and surrounding areas and were excited to help fill what they saw as a major gap within the beauty industry in the Akron-Canton area. Moreover, they were eager to spread the empowerment and confidence that comes with the services they provide.
“If you look good, you feel good,” said Dana. “It seems like such a small thing, but we see so many people who leave feeling very empowered and rejuvenated. At the end of the day, we like to think that we specialize in much more than just eyelashes, we specialize in inspiring confidence and wellbeing in the local community. We could all use a little more of that these days.”
The West Market Plaza studio is one of just three in Northeast Ohio, serving Fairlawn and the surrounding communities in the greater Akron-Canton area. The all-new shop is located on the southeast corner of the open-air shopping center just off N Cleveland Massillon Rd.
