Stark Enterprises, in collaboration with its affiliated companies Stark Living and Arbor Construction, broke ground on Oak Harbor Village yesterday, their latest build-to-rent residential community located in Bolivia, North Carolina.
Community partners and friends gathered at a freshly cleared site situated at the intersection of Sunset Harbor Rd and NC 211 in Brunswick County to mark the ceremonial groundbreaking of Oak Harbor Village. Spanning approximately 23 acres, this new build-to-rent community will comprise 130 ranch-style and townhome rental units, offering the convenience and worry-free lifestyle of apartment living with the look and feel of a single-family home.
The units, ranging from one to three bedrooms with an average size of 1,232 square feet, will feature private patios, spacious walk-in closets, private driveways, a two-car attached garage, and more. The development will also include an array of amenities including a clubhouse, dog park, state-of-the-art fitness center, playground, lap lane pool, sundeck, pergolas, grilling stations, and entertainment areas.

Stark Living, the residential property management arm of Stark Enterprises, will oversee the community’s operations with on-site management and maintenance teams. With a proven track record of building and managing a diverse portfolio across multiple states, Stark Living is expanding its build-to-rent concept beyond its successful development West Shire Village in Ocala, Florida, with Oak Harbor Village. Plans are underway to introduce this concept to up to five new cities, bringing thousands of residential units to the region in the coming years.
